Overview

  • Join a dynamic financial services firm as a Portfolio Financing Specialist, contributing to securities financing and lending operations.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to manage liquidity and leverage facilities across multiple fund structures.
  • Optimize asset leverage and financing strategies for diverse portfolios.

  • Coordinate with trading desks, external counterparties, and internal infrastructure throughout trade lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate with investment teams to assess portfolio changes and manage liquidity implications.
  • Assist in securities lending operations, including executing transactions and managing counterparty relationships.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses on fund liquidity, leverage, and investment capacity.
  • Model financing impacts on fund returns, leverage, and portfolio construction.
  • Streamline processes and reduce risks through group projects and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to optimize financing activities.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of debt and cash across multiple funds.
  • Provide market insights and coordinate borrow requests for securities lending.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a strong academic track record.
  • 3-5 years of experience in asset management, hedge funds, or financial institutions.
  • Proficiency in prime brokerage margin finance, swap, repo, and securities lending.
  • Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and process improvement.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Familiarity with liquidity management, fund finance, and credit products.
  • Ability to manage projects independently and thrive in a dynamic environment.
