Overview

  • Provide essential nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a contract role within a healthcare organization.
  • Support healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Perform clinical tasks including vaccinations, sample collection, and rapid testing to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and respond effectively to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist healthcare providers in patient care delivery, including administering vaccinations and conducting clinical assessments.
  • Perform Point of Care (POC) testing and collect samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Ensure proper infection control practices and maintain a safe clinical environment.
  • Support patient triage and assist in managing patient flow within the clinic.
  • Prepare examination rooms and ensure necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide coordinated and efficient patient care services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to patient confidentiality standards.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; nursing certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • Proficiency in Point of Care (POC) testing and clinical procedures.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and emergency response protocols.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and evenings.
