Overview

  • Lead financial operations for a healthcare organization, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee financial performance and provide detailed analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement efficient accounting procedures and improve financial processes.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for hospital departments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audits and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data and records.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and goal setting for the finance department.
  • Support cross-departmental collaboration to enhance financial reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify trends in revenue and expenses.
  • Evaluate and improve accounting procedures and practices for efficiency.
  • Coordinate with finance team members to ensure accurate transaction posting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting required.
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in healthcare.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ability to analyze complex financial data.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with diverse personnel levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
