• Serve as the NICU Clinical Educator, leading educational initiatives to enhance neonatal care quality and staff expertise.
• Design and implement innovative training programs tailored to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) requirements.
• Promote a culture of continuous professional development and learning within the NICU team.
• Utilize advanced educational methodologies to optimize clinical training outcomes and staff performance.

NICU Clinical Educator Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate clinical education programs for NICU staff, ensuring alignment with care standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and develop targeted educational initiatives.
• Deliver engaging workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions for NICU staff.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements as needed.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to staff, fostering clinical skill development and professional growth.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation requirements in all educational activities.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of educational activities and staff progress.
• Contribute to the creation of innovative learning strategies tailored to neonatal care.

NICU Clinical Educator Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and active RN license.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in neonatal care; four years preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Proven expertise in planning and implementing clinical education programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage educational initiatives effectively.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a healthcare setting.
• Commitment to fostering professional growth and continuous learning among staff.
• Willingness to work on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced NICU environment.
