Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Overview

  • Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in a dynamic diagnostic and treatment clinic setting.
  • Administer vaccinations, diagnostic tests, and medications, ensuring adherence to healthcare protocols and patient safety standards.

Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct diagnostic procedures such as EKGs and venipuncture, ensuring accurate specimen collection and processing.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, escort them to exam rooms, and assist providers with medical screenings.
  • Ensure efficient patient flow within the clinic, minimizing wait times and optimizing care delivery.
  • Process prior authorization requests and complete necessary documentation for medications and procedures.
  • Sterilize medical instruments and maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.

Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; active RN or LPN licensure mandatory.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, with a focus on diagnostic and treatment settings.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, particularly eClinicalWorks, is essential.
  • Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers is required.
