Tax Senior Overview

Tax Senior Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and review tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and entities with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct detailed research on complex tax issues to develop innovative solutions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver integrated family office services and comprehensive tax planning.
  • Mentor junior staff, fostering professional growth and sharing technical expertise.
  • Leverage advanced tax compliance tools to optimize preparation and planning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and standards in deliverables.

Tax Senior Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of tax practice experience; 4 years preferred.
  • CPA certification or progress toward certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in tax compliance tools such as Pro Systems and BNA Planner.
  • Familiarity with CCH Engagement and Axcess Tax software is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills to address and resolve complex tax scenarios effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
