BIM Manager Overview

• The BIM Manager will lead and optimize Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes to enhance project efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement innovative BIM solutions and ensure project alignment.
• Develop and enforce advanced BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across projects.
• Provide mentorship and training to elevate team expertise in BIM tools and methodologies.
• Stay informed on industry trends and integrate cutting-edge technologies into BIM workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BIM software issues to maintain seamless project progress.
• Support project documentation distribution and conduct quality assurance reviews of BIM models.
• Contribute to strategic planning and execution of BIM initiatives within the organization.

BIM Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee BIM and CAD initiatives, ensuring compliance with established standards across all projects.
• Manage BIM software updates, customizations, and process improvements to enhance operational productivity.
• Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates, workflows, and best practices for the organization.
• Create and modify Revit families to meet specific project requirements and specifications.
• Provide hardware and network support related to BIM production and operations.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering collaboration and skill development in BIM tools.
• Automate routines to streamline production and maintain consistency in standards.
• Coordinate project requirements with client documentation and expectations effectively.
• Conduct thorough model reviews, offering expert guidance on BIM projects and deliverables.

BIM Manager Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) or equivalent degree required.
• 7-9 years of experience in BIM management or related roles preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and other BIM software essential.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, processes, and industry trends.
• Experience in training and mentoring teams on BIM tools and practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interface with project teams.
• Capability to manage hybrid work arrangements effectively.
