Superintendent Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee daily construction operations, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
• Monitor project progress and address deviations from planned objectives promptly.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, and stakeholders for effective collaboration.
• Prepare and present progress reports to management and stakeholders.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize disruptions and delays.

Superintendent Job Requirements

• Associate of Science (AS) degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project supervision.
• Proficiency in ground-up construction methodologies and practices.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects.
• Ability to commute to project sites as required for on-site supervision.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities for team coordination and stakeholder engagement.
• Preferred 4 years of experience in construction project supervision for added expertise.
