Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities & Duties

Medical Assistant Job Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program or certification as a Registered/Certified Medical Assistant.
- Associate of Science degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current CPR certification and compliance with Tuberculosis screening requirements.
- Experience in administering medications and vaccines is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Value-Based Care, HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and patient experience metrics is preferred.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional local travel.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in clinical settings.
