Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and examinations of neonatal patients to determine their health status.

• Prescribe and manage medications, fluids, and therapies tailored to neonatal needs.

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing or equivalent advanced degree required.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse mandatory.
• National certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Minimum of one year of experience in neonatal care preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Basic Life Support certifications are mandatory.
