Job Description

FX Operations Overview

  • The FX Operations Associate will manage daily cash and position reconciliations for high-volume transactions across multiple accounts and asset classes.
  • Collaborate with Trading, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Leverage internal and third-party systems to support trade capture and lifecycle management for FX strategies.
  • Contribute to process improvement by identifying gaps and implementing effective solutions.
  • Operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality operational support for investment strategies.
  • Gain exposure to a global multi-strategy hedge fund environment with expertise across equity, fixed income, and derivatives markets.

FX Operations Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Perform daily reconciliations of cash and positions across internal systems, external platforms, and Prime Brokers.
  • Escalate and resolve outstanding breaks in a timely manner.
  • Support trade capture processes for FX strategies, including tracking and managing trade lifecycle events.
  • Develop and implement solutions to address process gaps in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in managing high-volume transactions across multiple accounts and asset classes.
  • Utilize OMS platforms and prime broker portals such as Bloomberg AIM, Orchestrade, or Geneva.

FX Operations Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in investment management or fund operations.
  • Proficiency in FX spot, forwards, NDF, swaps, and exotic FX options.
  • Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and related processes.
  • Experience with OMS platforms and prime broker portals preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
