Accounting Systems Analyst Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Review and process user-submitted tickets, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
- Research and resolve application issues under the guidance of the Senior System Support Manager.
- Maintain and update system user access, ensuring compliance with audit policies and procedures.
- Assist in end-user training and documentation of best practices for system usage.
- Support daily system operations and contribute to the maintenance of system functionality.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to facilitate testing and address queries.
- Stay updated on current accounting principles relevant to private equity fund administration.
Accounting Systems Analyst Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 and 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
- CPA certification or candidacy preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and Tables.
- Knowledge of private equity, ServiceNow, and/or Investran applications is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
