Senior Accountant – US GAAP and Stat Reporting Overview
- Serve as a Senior Accountant specializing in US GAAP and statutory reporting for a dynamic organization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards while managing accounting processes for multiple legal entities.

Senior Accountant – US GAAP and Stat Reporting Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform financial close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Prepare quarterly balance sheet and cash reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Manage intercompany activities, collaborating with teams to ensure accurate recording and reconciliation.
- Assist in preparing GAAP and regulatory financial statements for multiple entities.
- Participate in special projects, such as system implementations and business integrations.
- Enhance internal controls and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis and support for ad hoc responsibilities.

Senior Accountant – US GAAP and Stat Reporting Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience; 6 years preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and statutory reporting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems like Oracle.
- Experience with Hyperion (HFM) or FCCS is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and solve complex accounting challenges.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Preferred experience in public accounting and insurance operations.
