Senior Accountant – Controllers Division Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage lease schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations for finance and operating leases, ensuring compliance with ASC 842 standards.
- Prepare and review lease-related disclosures for financial statements and external reporting requirements.
- Track, record, and reconcile accrued expenses related to operations and SG&A functions, maintaining accuracy and transparency.
- Support payroll accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly close activities, contributing to efficient operations.
- Assist with automation and system enhancements for lease and accounting workflows, driving process improvements.
- Maintain a SOX-compliant control environment and prepare audit-ready documentation to support organizational compliance.
- Collaborate on special projects, including consolidations and system implementations, showcasing your expertise and adaptability.
Senior Accountant – Controllers Division Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification preferred or in progress.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; 5 years preferred, with technical accounting and controllership expertise.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and ASC 842 compliance, showcasing strong technical knowledge.
- Experience with SOX compliance and familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
