Senior Accountant – Controllers Division Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage lease schedules, journal entries, and reconciliations for finance and operating leases, ensuring compliance with ASC 842 standards.
  • Prepare and review lease-related disclosures for financial statements and external reporting requirements.
  • Track, record, and reconcile accrued expenses related to operations and SG&A functions, maintaining accuracy and transparency.
  • Support payroll accounting activities, including journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly close activities, contributing to efficient operations.
  • Assist with automation and system enhancements for lease and accounting workflows, driving process improvements.
  • Maintain a SOX-compliant control environment and prepare audit-ready documentation to support organizational compliance.

Senior Accountant – Controllers Division Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA certification preferred or in progress.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; 5 years preferred, with technical accounting and controllership expertise.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP and ASC 842 compliance, showcasing strong technical knowledge.
  • Experience with SOX compliance and familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion.
