Interior Design Project Manager Overview

  • Lead interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detailed project plans, technical models, and material specifications.
  • Implement innovative space planning and ceiling design layouts tailored to diverse project requirements.

Interior Design Project Manager Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in interior design project management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Office, and PowerPoint.
  • NCIDQ certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional time management, leadership, and attention to detail skills.
  • Familiarity with furniture selection processes is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site and remote tasks.
