Estimator Overview

Estimator Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects across various sectors.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure accurate estimation and project planning.

Estimator Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Estimator, preferably with a General Contractor.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools to develop accurate cost analyses.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and cost management principles.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret project requirements and develop detailed estimates.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment with a focus on professional growth.
  • Experience with projects involving affordable housing, recreational facilities, and commercial developments is preferred.
