Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct monthly valuations of securities and present findings to valuation committees.
  • Perform independent analyses using financial statements and market data to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to monitor issuer performance and market trends.
  • Prepare detailed portfolio review materials for quarterly presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure compliance with valuation standards.
  • Assist in onboarding processes for new investments, working closely with underwriting teams.
  • Contribute to the refinement and implementation of valuation policies and procedures.
  • Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial consulting, asset management, or related areas.
  • Proficiency in valuation techniques and advanced financial analysis methods.
  • Strong skills in Excel and familiarity with tools like Capital IQ or FactSet.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interest in investment strategies and company fundamental analysis.
  • Knowledge of debt instruments and three-statement financial modeling is preferred.
