Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily activities of the perioperative team, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care delivery, maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement work plans aligned with organizational priorities and deadlines.
  • Facilitate team meetings to address performance targets and compliance issues effectively.
  • Monitor and enhance quality and safety of clinical practices and services in perioperative care.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness plans are implemented and staff are trained accordingly.
  • Support strategic improvement projects to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and coach team members to drive performance improvement and professional growth.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree in Nursing or related field required.
  • Minimum one year of patient care delivery experience required; three years preferred.
  • Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Minimum one year of leadership experience, with or without direct reports.
  • Proven ability to manage clinical operations in a fast-paced environment effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance standards and regulatory requirements in healthcare.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in resource allocation and operational planning preferred.
