Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the on-site execution of commercial construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives efficiently.
  • Manage daily construction operations, including resource allocation and adherence to project plans.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the construction process.
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement among on-site teams.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively addressing challenges and providing updates to stakeholders.
  • Utilize advanced construction management tools to enhance operational efficiency and maintain quality.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, evaluating performance and ensuring contract compliance.
  • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, documenting achievements and addressing challenges.
  • Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools for scheduling and reporting.
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with a track record of successful project delivery.
