Senior Project Manager – Ground-Up Construction

Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, addressing delays and implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and milestones.
• Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Lead project meetings, fostering collaboration and resolving conflicts effectively.
• Ensure successful project closeout, including final inspections and comprehensive documentation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in ground-up construction project management; 10 years preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Primavera.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risks effectively.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards in all project phases.
• Experience in client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
