Job Description

Overview

  • Support project managers in overseeing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Coordinate resources, schedules, and deliverables while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and team members.
  • Assist in managing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial accuracy throughout project lifecycles.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements during all phases of construction.
  • Contribute to pre-construction planning and post-construction evaluations to optimize processes and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to foster collaboration and trust.
  • Participate in problem-solving and decision-making processes to address challenges effectively during project execution.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate project schedules, resources, and documentation to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion.
  • Assist in preparing project budgets and tracking expenses to maintain financial accuracy and control.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address project challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Support procurement activities, including sourcing materials and negotiating contracts with vendors.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to management and clients, highlighting progress and outcomes.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing insights and updates on progress and addressing concerns.
  • Assist in resolving conflicts and issues during project execution to maintain project continuity.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management; 5 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools for effective planning and execution.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills for effective team collaboration.
  • Ability to work on-site and adapt to dynamic project environments and challenges.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under pressure.
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource management to ensure project success.
