Wound Care Nurse Manager

Overview

• Lead the inpatient wound care unit, ensuring exceptional patient care and adherence to healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Plan and manage daily operations of the wound care unit, ensuring optimal patient care delivery.
• Develop and monitor performance improvement plans to achieve superior clinical outcomes.
• Coordinate staff training programs to enhance skills and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
• Oversee budget planning and resource allocation to align with organizational objectives.
• Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction and physician collaboration within the unit.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree in Nursing required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of clinical RN experience in acute care settings.
• Preferred 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare management roles.
• Strong understanding of healthcare standards and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in quality improvement methodologies and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership.
