Project Manager

Summary:

As a second-generation run organization, our client specializes in the interior renovation of grocery store chains, convenient stores, and big box retail. With projects spanning across the U.S., there is a steady and healthy stream of projects for 2025 and beyond. They are seeking an experienced project manager to lead large remodel projects.

Duties:

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, subcontractors, team members, and other agencies.
•  Leverage strong estimation skills to bid on and secure projects.
• Direct and lead the efforts of superintendents, subcontractors, and construction project staff.
•  Ensure that deadlines and budget targets are achieved.
• Create, monitor, and maintain project schedules.
• Act as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of projects.
• Work directly with clients to keep them informed of project requirements and timelines.
• Develop scope of work assignments.
• Plan and implement remodeling construction projects valued up to $3 million.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality control standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant project management experience: Grocery / Retail store remodel
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced in managing all aspects of the commercial building process
