    Assist in evaluating, selecting, specifying, and engineering certain Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) building systems for a project verifying compliance with applicable codes and internal engineering standards.

Job Description

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

  • Design and implement electrical systems through testing components 
  • Adhere to global engineering standards and codes 
  • Evaluate existing electrical products and components by utilizing electrical knowledge and design research 
  • Design and perform testing methods to determine component flaws and capabilities  
  • Determine customer requirements and assess manufacturing and design processes in order to meet them 
  • Develop manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components   
  • Prepare and deliver product reports by collecting and analyzing data  
  • Maintain product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations 
  • Maintain operational equipment up to manufacturer standards 
  • Monitor maintenance and inspection plans and determine the need/cost for new equipment 
  • Complete projects by training and guiding a team of technicians 
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians when necessary 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university required 
  • PE license required 
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical construction and product design 
  • Knowledge of electrical wiring methods and requirements for various building types  
  • Experience using high-performance computing resources for numerical model development 
  • Proficiency in office automation software (MS Office, AutoCAD) 
  • Expert data and analytical skills 
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
