Job Description

Summary:

You will play a crucial role in managing the entire lifecycle of architectural projects, from inception to completion. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating with clients, leading project teams, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and maintaining effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders. Your expertise in the residential, multi-family, and commercial sectors will be essential in delivering high-quality projects that align with our company's vision and standards.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Leadership:
  • Oversee and manage architectural projects from initial concept to final completion, ensuring successful execution within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including architects, designers, engineers, and contractors, to ensure efficient collaboration and seamless project delivery.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and teamwork within the project teams, promoting a positive work environment.
  1. Client Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and effectively managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Understand clients' needs, objectives, and project requirements, translating them into actionable plans and deliverables.
    • Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and opportunities to clients, ensuring transparency and client satisfaction.
  1. Project Planning and Execution:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.
    • Coordinate and facilitate project design meetings, ensuring effective collaboration and decision-making among team members.
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions to keep projects on track.
    • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design intent, quality standards, and building codes/regulations.
  1. Financial and Resource Management:
  • Prepare project budgets and track financial performance, monitoring expenses and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
    • Manage project resources effectively, including staff allocation, consultant coordination, and procurement of materials and equipment.
    • Work closely with the finance department to review project financial reports, forecasts, and billing processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the architecture profession, with a focus on residential, multi-family, and commercial sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing architectural projects of varying complexities and scales.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Professional licensure or registration as an architect is preferred.
