Job Description

Summary:

Supporting the Pricing team the Analyst performs data reporting, data analysis, maintaining various databases, generating reports, developing client budgets, monitoring client financial metrics, and collaborating with other departments. Successful candidate will have at least one plus year of work professional service firm work experience and will be proficient in Microsoft Excel, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be able to multi-task in a highly collaborative environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Data Integrity and Maintenance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and information.
  • Budget and Investment Tracking: Monitor budgets, credit, and investment limits.
  • Correspondence Drafting: Prepare correspondence as directed by Pricing and Profitability Managers.
  • Best Practices and Benchmarking: Learn and apply the Firm’s best practices and benchmarks to support the team.
  • Data Discrepancy Identification: Identify discrepancies in data from various sources, request clarifications, and perform data verification routines as per department procedures.
  • Research and Project Support: Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts to complete project-related assignments.
  • Process Improvement: Follow established data-related processes and provide recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
  • Independent and Collaborative Work: Work independently while effectively communicating and coordinating with other team members.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1+ years of legal and/or business support experience preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Quickly learn new software applications and adapt to project-related process changes.
  • Attention to Detail: Exhibit detailed and thorough work habits with the ability to multitask.
  • Independent and Team Work: Work independently while understanding the importance of communication and coordination with colleagues.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment, including internet, email, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software.
  • Professionalism: Ability to interface directly with business contacts and represent the company professionally.
