    Hybrid role with 2-3 days on site. This role plays a key role as the right hand to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee efficient workflows and processes to enhance project management and ensure timely completion of initiatives led by the CFO.
  • Provide direct support to the CFO in the coordination of strategic finance projects, board relations, and the preparation of executive presentations.
  • Facilitate vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and procurement, to optimize organizational operations.
  • Assist in the development and management of operational budgets, monitoring expenditures to ensure resource optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards and procedures across all operations.
  • Coordinate with human resources on employee onboarding and talent management initiatives.
  • Manage the CFO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling executive communications.
  • Support the finance team in enhancing financial processes such as accounts payable and vendor communications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; further education in finance, business administration, or related area preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, supporting C-Suite or senior executive positions, preferably within a nonprofit or community-focused organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management and familiarity with project management tools (Asana preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across various departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support organizational needs.
