Job Description

Summary:

Payroll Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing the company’s payroll. This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to handle sensitive information. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data.
  • Generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
