Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular needs assessments to identify learning requirements and recommend effective solutions to enhance front-line product knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate the skills and competencies necessary to support product knowledge and improve sales performance.
- Design and develop learning and development programs tailored to front-line product knowledge.
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create engaging training content.
- Develop courses for various delivery formats, including in-person, web-based, and eLearning.
- Create comprehensive training plans, timelines, and schedules.
- Oversee the training calendar and coordinate with business units to align training schedules.
- Facilitate training sessions, seminars, and workshops for employees at all levels using a variety of instructional methods (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, web-based).
- Develop supporting materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, manuals, guides, visual aids, and tutorials.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and relevant.
- Review course designs with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Create interactive exercises and activities that enhance the learning experience.
- Establish testing criteria to evaluate learner progress and performance.
- Continuously assess and evaluate training programs to measure their effectiveness and make improvements.
- Design and implement interactive training solutions to meet objectives and improve employee performance.
- Integrate feedback and evaluation results into future training content and updates.
- Maintain eLearning user profiles, courses, and platform settings.
- Stay current with instructional design best practices and innovations.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to learners and staff.
- Regularly update training materials to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Travel as needed.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in HR, Leadership, or Adult Education preferred.
- Training certifications preferred.
- At least five years of experience in a training specialist role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and facilitation abilities.
- Experience with online course authoring tools and administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- Experience in the credit union or financial services industry preferred.
- High ethical standards.
- Technologically savvy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
