Job Description

Title: Sr Property Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of properties, identifying issues and implementing solutions.
  • Manage and update service contracts to ensure efficient property operations.
  • Regularly engage with tenants to address their needs and enhance tenant relations.
  • Collaborate with leasing and asset management teams to prepare properties for new tenancies and manage transitions.
  • Supervise and direct both routine and major maintenance projects across properties.
  • Interact with contractors and local government officials to ensure compliance and address operational concerns.
  • Develop and monitor property budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with company goals.
  • Process and approve operational invoices and manage tenant billing for reimbursements.
  • Produce detailed monthly reports on property performance, including variance analysis and accounts receivable updates.
  • Lead efforts to improve collection processes and enforce lease agreements.
  • Undertake special projects as required to support property and organizational needs.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven years in commercial property management, with a strong background in managing open-air retail centers.
  • Experience in supervising property management personnel is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to solve problems effectively and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail with a track record of managing multiple projects successfully.
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting document interpretation.
  • Experience with Yardi software is preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

Additional Information:

  • This position requires frequent travel within the assigned portfolio.
  • Availability for on-call emergencies 24/7 is required.
