Occupational Therapist – OTR/L

Monday-Friday: 8:30am-4:30pm

35 Hours per week

Start: 3/3/25

Inpatient and Outpatient

Ortho and Neuro : Adult Rehab

Responsibilities/Job Duties: 

• Assess the physical, cognitive, emotional, and sensory condition of the patient 
• Review the patient’s history and goals 
• Assess the home, school, and work environments of patients 
• Develop a treatment plan based on the assessment 
• Help patients achieve goals through therapeutic activity, neuromuscular re-education, manual therapy, self-care, development of cognitive skills, sensory integration, etc 
• Install necessary therapy equipment and assist/teach patients in using them 
• Review patients’ progress and adapt the treatment accordingly 
• Ensure safety at discharge and continuation of progress through home exercises 
• Provide recommendations for assistive equipment or continued therapy 
• Various administrative tasks as necessary 

Qualifications: 

• Degree in Occupational Therapy required 
• Valid Occupational Therapist state license required 
• At least 1 year of experience preferred 
• EPIC exp preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to be extremely patient with patients/staff
