Remote UAS Review Nurse

**Must reside in New York OR Metro Area

A UAS (Uniform Assessment System) review nurse plays a crucial role in evaluating and coordinating patient care. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this position:

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing Assessments: Evaluate UAS assessments to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Consultation: Work with healthcare providers to gather additional information and recommend appropriate care plans.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations and recommendations.
• Compliance: Ensure all assessments comply with relevant healthcare policies and standards.
• Feedback: Provide feedback to field assessors to improve documentation quality.
• Reporting: Generate weekly reports on UAS reviews for management.

Qualifications:

• Licensing: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
• Experience: Prior experience in utilization review or case management is often preferred.
• Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
