Job Description
Title: Sr. Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly financial closings, including journal entries, reconciliations, and internal reporting
- Maintain financial statements in compliance with both US GAAP and IFRS
- Support internal and external audit preparation and documentation
- Assist with cash flow activities and cost accounting tasks
- Prepare and analyze key financial metrics for internal management reporting
- Manage accounts payable entry and vendor invoicing
- Perform invoicing to customers and ensure project cost allocations are cleared accurately
- Provide ad hoc reports, analysis, and data extracts as needed
- Contribute to ongoing internal controls and compliance efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or financial reporting
- Proficiency with SAP (R/3 or S/4HANA required)
- Working knowledge of IFRS standards is required
- Experience with monthly close, reconciliations, and reporting workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team setting
