Job Description

A well-established healthcare facility is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Supervisor to serve as the Clinical Resource Coordinator for the Operating Room. This role is essential to ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the entire surgical process.

Position Overview:

Under the general direction of the Director of Surgical Services, the RN Clinical Resource Coordinator plays a pivotal leadership role across all perioperative areas. The position is responsible for overseeing patient care from pre-operative preparation through post-operative recovery, ensuring that nursing and support staff deliver consistent, safe, and efficient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support surgical services staff, including nurses and support personnel
  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of care across all phases of the surgical experience
  • Monitor patient flow and resource utilization to maintain high standards of clinical effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and hospital policies
  • Evaluate and continuously improve perioperative workflows and outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, department leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to resolve issues and implement best practices
  • Provide mentorship, training, and performance feedback to staff

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in the state of [Insert State] (or compact eligible)
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of perioperative nursing experience required
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a surgical setting preferred
