Project Manager – Commercial Construction
📍 Greater Indianapolis, IN
An established and employee-owned general contractor in the Indianapolis area is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects ranging from $10M to $25M+. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to play a key role in delivering impactful, high-quality projects across Indiana.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage full lifecycle of commercial construction projects from $5M–$50M+
- Oversee coordination of contracts, budgets, submittals, testing, and schedule with internal teams
- Act as the main point of contact for project owners, field teams, and subcontractors
- Drive project progress by holding weekly site meetings and monthly progress reviews
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, construction specifications, and timeline milestones
- Work closely with accounting for owner/subcontractor billing and payment tracking
- Lead project closeout, including punch list management, O&M manual delivery, and final occupancy
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- 8+ years of commercial construction experience, with proven success in managing complex ground-up builds
- Proficiency with construction tech including Procore, Timberline, BlueBeam, and SmartSheets
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a hands-on and solutions-driven mindset
- Deep commitment to jobsite safety and delivering high-quality work
