Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a 40-person team, ensuring accuracy across hourly pay, tips, and timekeeping
- Serve as the go-to HR resource for the team, handling employee relations, performance documentation, and workplace matters with discretion and clarity
- Maintain personnel files, onboarding/offboarding documentation, and compliance records (I-9s, certifications, etc.)
- Manage recruitment workflows, including job postings, interviews, and background checks
- Coordinate benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries related to time off, scheduling, and workplace policies
- Ensure ongoing compliance with city, state, and federal labor regulations
- Track and resolve scheduling, timesheet, or payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare reports and support occasional ad hoc initiatives as needed
Qualifications
- 4+ years of HR and payroll experience within hospitality, restaurant, or food service environments
- Familiarity with systems such as ADP and Toast is required
- Bachelor's degree required
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
