Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients of all ages in a dynamic Emergency Department setting.
- Perform rapid assessments and interventions for a wide variety of medical and trauma cases.
- Support the medical staff treatment plan and collaborate with physicians, EMS, and inpatient teams.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, follow-up care, and prevention strategies.
- Triage incoming patients and manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and contribute to a team culture built on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN or MSN preferred.
- Unrestricted RN license in Colorado (or eligibility for reciprocity).
- Current BLS certification (may be obtained upon hire).
- ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience preferred, ideally in emergency nursing.
- CEN or CPEN certification preferred.
- Experience with EPIC and bilingual Spanish skills a plus.
