We’re partnering with a leading healthcare system in Houston, Texas, to identify a transformative nurse executive for the role of Director of Emergency Services. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a seasoned nursing professional ready to guide a busy Emergency Department into its next chapter of clinical excellence, staff engagement, and operational innovation.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

Lead a dedicated emergency services team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence and accountability

Collaborate with hospital leadership on strategy, growth, and performance improvement

Mentor frontline leaders and clinical staff, supporting both patient care and professional development

Implement evidence-based standards of care, regulatory compliance, and quality metrics

Champion the patient experience through service excellence and operational efficiency

Identify and cultivate emerging leadership talent within the ED

✅ What They're Looking For

BSN required; Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, MBA, etc.) strongly preferred

Active RN license in Texas or compact-eligible state

3+ years of clinical leadership experience in an Emergency Department

3+ years of ER nursing experience required

ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and BLS certifications required

Proven success managing teams, improving care delivery, and driving results
