We’re partnering with a respected healthcare organization in Houston, Texas, to identify a passionate and experienced RN leader for a Nurse Manager position overseeing a high-acuity Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. As Nurse Manager of the NICU, you’ll be at the forefront of neonatal excellence—guiding a team of skilled clinicians in delivering advanced, life-sustaining care to newborns in critical condition. In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Lead a team of NICU nurses and support staff in a 24/7 Level IV environment
Drive high standards in clinical care, safety, and family-centered support
Mentor and develop nursing staff through education, coaching, and collaboration
Optimize staffing, compliance, and workflow in partnership with senior leadership
Champion quality improvement initiatives and performance excellence
✅ What They’re Looking For
BSN required
Current Texas RN license (or compact-eligible)
2+ years of NICU nursing experience (Level III or IV strongly preferred)
2+ years of leadership experience (Charge Nurse or Manager level)
BLS required (AHA); NRP preferred
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
