We’re proud to partner with a nationally respected hospital in the Dallas metro area to recruit an experienced nurse leader for a Nurse Manager opportunity within the Mother-Baby unit. This is a rewarding leadership role for a dynamic, relationship-driven RN who is passionate about supporting mothers, newborns, and frontline teams in a high-acuity, high-volume environment.

💡 The Impact You’ll Make

As Nurse Manager of the Mother-Baby Unit, you’ll lead a skilled interdisciplinary team focused on delivering safe, evidence-based postpartum and newborn care. You’ll serve as both a clinical expert and administrative leader, guiding patient safety initiatives, managing department resources, and fostering a culture of collaboration, compassion, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

Oversight of postpartum and newborn nursery care and unit operations

Supporting quality outcomes, patient experience, and regulatory compliance

Leading and mentoring clinical staff and charge RNs

Managing schedules, payroll, budgets, staffing, and physician partnerships

Driving women’s health–specific initiatives and patient-centered care processes

Ensuring effective communication and continuity of care across the perinatal continuum

✅ What You Bring to the Table

🎓 BSN required; Master’s degree preferred

🩺 Current RN license in Texas or compact state

💼 2+ years of nursing leadership experience preferred

🧠 Knowledge of perinatal care standards and family-centered practices

❤️ NRP and BLS certifications required

🤝 Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style
