Surgical Oncology Nurse Manager

📍 Austin, TX | ⏰ Full-Time, Days (7–10 hr shifts, weekdays only)

We’re partnering with a leading hospital in Austin, TX to find an experienced and passionate Nurse Manager to oversee Surgical Oncology services. This is a unique opportunity to lead within one of the region’s most advanced robotic and oncology programs — including the only adult Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program in the area.

As the Surgical Oncology Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving high-quality, patient-centered care. You’ll lead daily operations, coordinate interdisciplinary care, ensure compliance, and champion a culture of accountability and compassion across your team.

✨ What You’ll Do:

Lead and evaluate the provision of nursing care, ensuring best practices and excellent outcomes

Support evidence-based practices and clinical standardization

Promote efficiency and cost-effectiveness in operations and staffing

Oversee admissions, discharges, and throughput to enhance the patient experience

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless coordination of care

Foster a patient-first environment and act on opportunities to improve satisfaction

Manage budgets, supply utilization, and resource optimization

📌 Requirements:

BSN required

1+ year of healthcare leadership experience

Oncology Chemo Certification required

Registered Nurse (RN) with active Texas or compact state licensure

BLS certification
