Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a Hedge Fund Operations Professional to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and overseeing operational processes across all asset classes, ensuring the efficient functioning of the hedge fund's activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operations and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the trade lifecycle, including trade capture, reconciliation, and settlement for various asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternatives).
  • Oversee cash and position reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Coordinate with counterparties, custodians, and brokers to resolve discrepancies and operational issues.
  • Support the onboarding of new funds and products, including the development of operational workflows.
  • Maintain and enhance operational procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on operational metrics, performance, and risk exposures.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including portfolio management, compliance, and risk management, to support overall fund operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in hedge fund operations or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of various asset classes and their operational processes.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Excel, trade management systems).
