Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer (FSE) to join our clients service team supporting advanced medical devices used in dermatology practices. This role involves installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support across a designated regional territory. The FSE will be the primary technical resource for clinics, private practices, and med spas using our laser-based systems.

Territory includes: Glen Burnie, Brooklyn Park, Linthicum Heights, Baltimore Highlands, Cherry Hill, Silver Spring, Bethesda, Columbia, Pikesville, Lutherville, Aberdeen, Bainbridge, Edgewood, Potomac.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and remove medical device equipment at customer sites
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on all supported systems
  • Deliver timely and effective support in accordance with company service standards
  • Provide responsive phone support and remote troubleshooting when appropriate
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships with clinical users
  • Manage territory logistics including travel, scheduling, and service documentation
  • Complete service reports and relevant documentation accurately and on time
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and field-based sales colleagues

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of field service experience with complex medical or technical devices
  • Previous experience managing a regional territory independently
  • Knowledge of laser systems or multidisciplinary medical equipment preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard reporting tools
  • Customer-service mindset with a collaborative attitude

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, building customer relationships, and solving technical challenges in the field. Travel throughout the assigned territory is required.
