Job Description
A top law firm is seeking a Senior Benefits & Leave Specialist to join their HR team in NYC. This role will support onboarding/offboarding, new hire benefits orientation, and lead all aspects of employee leave and ADA accommodation processes.
Salary: $110K–$120K + bonus eligible
Schedule: Mon–Thu in-office, 9:30 AM–5:30 PM
Exempt position (no OT)
Key Responsibilities:
-Administer leaves (FMLA, PFL, STD, LTD, ADA, PWFA, Workers’ Comp) and accommodations.
-Ensure compliance with federal and state leave laws (NY, CA, DC, DE).
-Act as liaison with HR, Legal, Payroll, and external vendors.
-Manage benefit enrollments, qualifying events, and provide employee support.
-Conduct attorney onboarding/offboarding and benefits orientation.
-Drive process improvements and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
-4–8 years in a law firm; Bachelor’s degree required.
-Strong knowledge of leave laws and benefit programs.
-Experience with ADP/Enterprise EV6 preferred.
-Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
