Overview
- Lead and manage the Medical Telemetry unit in a dynamic healthcare environment.
- Ensure high standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

- Oversee a 32-36 bed unit with CNCs supporting leadership duties.
- Work closely with the Director of Nursing to align unit goals.
- Utilize advanced technologies and practices in a Joint Commission-certified facility.
- Contribute to a Comprehensive Bariatric Center of Excellence.
- Join a team recognized for excellence in stroke and chest pain care.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Organize and manage patient care functions to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Lead staff education initiatives to promote continuous improvement.
- Monitor and enhance processes for quality care and satisfaction.
- Act as a role model for excellence in nursing leadership.
- Interact with medical staff to improve patient care strategies.
- Ensure compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Plan and direct nursing care in alignment with administrative policies.
- Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment in patient care planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current Florida RN license or recognized Compact Licensure.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
- Minimum 3 years of acute care hospital experience; 5 years preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a charge nurse or nursing management role.
- Strong leadership and critical thinking skills for patient care planning.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
