Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Operate advanced imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report concerns to medical staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient data.
  • Perform routine quality control and calibration of imaging equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support effective patient care.
  • Stay updated on advances in nuclear medicine technology and practices.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field.
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT certified in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, with 2 years preferred.
  • Experience with SPECT, PET, or hybrid imaging systems is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused mindset.
  • State license to practice nuclear medicine technology, if required.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
