Job Description

Overview

  • Lead the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology departments, driving advanced stroke and cardiac care initiatives.
  • Collaborate with top-tier specialists to enhance patient outcomes in a Magnet®-designated hospital.
  • Manage high-quality nursing care and administrative functions across multiple units.
  • Oversee a team of over 80 FTEs, ensuring operational excellence and team development.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality nursing care in the Cath Lab and IR departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a team of clinicians, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advance stroke and cardiac care programs.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
  • Drive initiatives to achieve Magnet® recognition and uphold nursing excellence standards.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to align departmental goals with organizational objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Active California RN license and BLS certification upon hire.
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical experience in Cath Lab or IR settings.
  • At least 1 year of nursing leadership experience, such as RN Supervisor or Nurse Manager.
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and inspire teams effectively.
  • Commitment to patient-focused care and continuous improvement in clinical practices.
  • Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, high-performing hospital environment.
