Job Description

Overview

  • Lead operations at a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center with specialties in ENT, Orthopedics, and Pain Management.
  • Oversee a facility with two operating rooms and one procedure room, ensuring optimal functionality and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and governing board to align clinical and financial goals with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and quality of care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements, maintaining high-quality clinical services.
  • Promote positive relationships with physicians, staff, and patients to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in clinical and operational processes to achieve excellence.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, purchasing, and staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct daily operations of the facility, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient care.
  • Serve as a liaison between the governing board, medical staff, and departments to ensure alignment.
  • Lead monthly operations reviews and implement strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Develop and monitor budgets, staffing plans, and purchasing strategies to maintain financial health.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and accreditation standards for clinical services.
  • Foster positive relationships among departments and act as a liaison with the home office.
  • Implement continuous quality improvement programs to enhance clinical and operational performance.
  • Manage personnel administration, including performance reviews and professional development opportunities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ASC or hospital surgical leadership; 5 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage clinical operations and drive financial performance.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build relationships and hold teams accountable.
  • Experience in budgeting, purchasing, and staffing management in a healthcare setting.
  • Growth-minded and financially savvy with a focus on operational excellence.
