Overview

  • Join a dynamic team as a Customer Service Representative, managing dispatch operations and ensuring efficient service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • This contract role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in transportation coordination and customer interaction.
  • Work onsite Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with potential for temp-to-hire conversion.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to maintain operational excellence and address customer needs effectively.
  • Utilize dispatch software to monitor and track vehicle and personnel status, ensuring timely service delivery.
  • Contribute to emergency response efforts, providing solutions promptly and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and manage the dispatch of vehicles and personnel for efficient operations.
  • Monitor and track the status of dispatched vehicles and personnel using dispatch software.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and stakeholders to ensure service quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and operational data.
  • Handle emergency situations, providing prompt solutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Assist with customer screening processes as needed, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to address operational challenges and improve processes.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or equivalent educational background required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatch or a similar role; 4 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage dispatch operations efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions.
  • Familiarity with dispatch software and tools to monitor and track operations.
  • Experience with customer screening processes is preferred but not required.
