Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate and manage the dispatch of vehicles and personnel for efficient operations.
- Monitor and track the status of dispatched vehicles and personnel using dispatch software.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and stakeholders to ensure service quality.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and operational data.
- Handle emergency situations, providing prompt solutions to minimize disruptions.
- Assist with customer screening processes as needed, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to address operational challenges and improve processes.
Job Requirements
- Associate of Applied Science (AAS) or equivalent educational background required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatch or a similar role; 4 years preferred.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage dispatch operations efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions.
- Familiarity with dispatch software and tools to monitor and track operations.
- Experience with customer screening processes is preferred but not required.
