Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a Senior Tax Analyst specializing in corporate tax and provisions, supporting a dynamic finance team in a fast-paced technology company.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Tax to shape and improve tax processes and workflows from the ground up.
  • Engage in global tax activities, including transaction taxes, transfer pricing, income tax, and tax credits.
  • Contribute to a high-growth environment with opportunities for professional development and impactful contributions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review outsourced tax provision and compliance processes, including Form 1120, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and review routine tax filings, such as sales tax and property tax, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Lead income tax reporting under US GAAP, ensuring adherence to ASC 740 accounting standards.
  • Implement scalable tax workflows and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Support tax planning, structuring, and M&A initiatives, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless tax operations and reporting.
  • Contribute to a lean finance team, providing expertise and insights to drive impactful results.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in tax, with a focus on corporate tax and provisions.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and ASC 740 accounting for income taxes.
  • Experience in public accounting or in-house tax roles, with a proven track record of process improvement.
  • Proactive and ambitious, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
